Harewood Playcentre runs from Harewood Hall on Harewood Road, offering parent-led early childhood sessions for kids aged 0 to 5 during school term. It's a cooperative rather than a drop-and-leave centre, so mums, dads and caregivers stay and play alongside their children, taking turns on a roster to set up activities like sand and water play, painting, dress-ups, baking and simple carpentry.

Because everyone pitches in, you get to know other local families fast, and there's always another adult around if you need a hand.
