Russley Playcentre is a parent-led early learning centre next to Crosbie Park in Russley, catering for babies through to around six-year-olds. It's not a drop-in play centre you visit once and leave; families join as members and take a rostered turn helping run sessions, while children move freely between indoor activities and the outdoor play area at Crosbie Park.

There's a dedicated 'Babies can play' morning for newborns and their parents alongside the regular weekday sessions, and siblings attend together, so older kids often end up looking out for the little ones. New families are invited to arrange a visit and try a few sessions before enrolling, so it suits parents after an ongoing, community-based option rather than a one-off outing.
