Amberley Playcentre

Amberley Playcentre is a parent-run early learning group based at Chamberlain Park on Church Street, Amberley, for kids aged 0 to 5. It runs on Tuesday and Friday mornings, and the model is hands-on: a parent or caregiver stays for the whole session and plays alongside their child rather than dropping them off.
Sessions have the usual playcentre spread of paint and messy play, a sandpit, water play, music, playdough, books and bikes, set up in a shaded playground and grass area. Because it's a cooperative, the families who attend also help run the place and support each other, including newer parents with babies.
New families get a few visits to try it out before enrolling, so it's easy to see if it suits before committing to anything.
