World Space Week Celebrations: The Stars at Your Fingertips

Join us for an educational, fun and hands-on session to explore the stars in the night sky.
Learn about star patterns and discover how constellations are formed before creating your own three-dimensional constellation model.
If weather conditions permit, you will also have the exciting opportunity to observe the Sun through a professional telescope.
This programme is offered in collaboration with the University of Canterbury and Shirley Library.
Ages: 9-12 years old.
