Take a stroll in the sun and join us for a joyful community event!

Shirley Community Trust, Shirley Library, and a local sports organisation are excited to bring you a fun and interactive Story Walk at MacFarlane Community Garden, 5 Jebson Street, Mairehau.

Follow Elephant and Friends on a delightful journey through the Garden! Wander, read, hop, and skip your way along our story path while enjoying the beauty of spring in bloom.

What’s on during the event?

• Creative craft activities
• Warm-up stories and songs
• Interactive Story Walk through the garden
• Visit the library van – borrow books or sign up for a library card
• Fun outdoor sports activities
• An entertaining quiz

Free, no bookings required

All ages welcome, suitable for preschoolers, primary school children and their whānau.

Event time and day: 10am-12pm, Tuesday 29 September

Rain check day: Wednesday 30 September (the same time)

There are four sessions:

Session 1: 10am

Session 2: 10.30am

Session 3: 11.00am

Session 4: 11.30am

Please arrive on time for your chosen session.
