Butterfly Fun Run 2026

Run (or walk) a fabulous 6km loop track at The Groynes reserve for Baby Loss Awareness Week.

Every registration goes into the draw to win some amazing prizes from our incredible event partners, keep an eye on our Facebook event page for announcements. There is also a prize for our best-dressed participant and our first three runners to cross the finish line. Optional Butterfly fun run t-shirts will be available to purchase closer to the day.

Sign-in is available from 8:30am. Race briefing for all participants will start at 9:10am.

This event will help keep vital MMNZ (Miscarriage Matters NZ) services running in our community.

MMNZ is a not-for-profit organisation and our sole purpose is to be a voice for miscarriage in New Zealand. Our mission is to raise awareness of miscarriage, provide information, deliver care packages and support midwives (and other maternity caregivers).

A coffee cart will be available on site + sweet treats by Paige's Pantry.

9.30am: Start of the 6km event
